  • The Networking luncheon on Friday is a great time to network with colleagues and share ideas and best practices on technology, marketing, and other practice management tips. Terry Peppard, Vice Chair of the State Bar of Wisconsin's Lawyer Dispute Resolution Program, will give a short presentation titled "When Lawyers Leave - Dealing with Law Firm Breakups and Lawyer Departures" during the luncheon.
  • Need to check email while at the Conference? We will have several Email kiosks available throughout the exhibit hall to check emails.
  • The Kalahari will have various activities throughout the weekend to celebrate their Fall Festival. Planned activities include face painting and balloon animals, wagon rides to the 'pumpkin patch',  bonfires where guests can make yummy smores and hear ghost stories, cookie decorating & MORE!
  • Bring your friends and family and enjoy the gigantic indoor wave pool, five hot tubs, and family and kiddie water slides. Each guest room at the Kalahari includes a microwave and refrigerator, plus free wi-fi. Hotel check-out is at 11:00 am, but you can stay and play all day long.

During his presentation, To Blog or Not to Blog, That Is the Question, O’Keefe will give you the tools to establish an effective Web practice and compete with large, big-city firms – all at a budget you can afford.
  • Friday morning plenary speaker, Laurel Bellows is the current Chair of the ABA House of Delegates. Bellows will lead a discussion on involvement and leadership for the solo practitioner or small firm associate during her presentation, A Small Firm Is Not a Barrier to Leadership.
  • On Saturday, Connie Kilmark invites attendees and their significant others to attend her session "Your Financial Personality at Home and at Work.” Learn how to negotiate financial stress and how it affects your relationships.
